Punjab & Sind Bank Donates Wheelchairs to Unani Research Institute on 119th Foundation Day

Lucknow: Marking its 119th Foundation Day, Punjab & Sind Bank reinforced its commitment to social responsibility by donating two wheelchairs to the Central Research Institute of Unani Medicine (CRIUM), Lucknow, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and public welfare initiatives.

The wheelchairs were formally handed over by Avdhesh Narayan Singh, Deputy General Manager and Regional Head of Punjab & Sind Bank. The event was attended by Dr. Najmus Seher, Deputy Director of the Central Research Institute of Unani Medicine, along with senior officials from both the bank and the institute.

Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that Punjab & Sind Bank believes in contributing to society beyond its banking services. He noted that the wheelchairs would provide much-needed assistance to patients, senior citizens, and differently-abled visitors seeking treatment and services at the institute.

Expressing gratitude for the gesture, Dr. Najmus Seher said such initiatives play a vital role in making healthcare services more accessible, compassionate, and patient-friendly. He appreciated the bank’s efforts in supporting public welfare and enhancing facilities for those in need.

Among those present at the programme were Kamal Kishore and Brahma Kumar, Assistant General Managers; Anchal Srivastava, Chief Manager; and Sarvesh Raghuvanshi, Senior Manager, along with other officials and staff members.

Participants described the initiative as a meaningful example of corporate social responsibility and community service. Punjab & Sind Bank reiterated its commitment to social welfare, community development, and public service, pledging to continue such initiatives in the years ahead.
